This Privacy Policy explains how Runergy (the “App”) handles information when you use the App. By using Runergy, you agree to this policy.
1. Who we are
Runergy is provided by the App developer / publisher (“we”, “us”). This policy applies to the Runergy mobile application.
2. Information you provide
Depending on how you use the App, you may enter:
• Account details — email address and a password (your password is salted and hashed; we do not store passwords in plain text)
• Profile details — name, age, sex, height, weight, and related training preferences
• Training and nutrition data — goals, plans, scheduled workouts, completion status, weight logs, and weekly check-in ratings
• Optional race details — event date, distance, finish goals, and pacing preferences
3. How we use information
We use this information only to operate the App for you, including:
• Creating and securing your account
• Generating training plans and calorie / fueling recommendations
• Showing progress, workouts, and check-in adjustments
• Enforcing terms acceptance on this device
We do not sell your personal information.
4. Where data is stored
In the current version of Runergy, account and athlete data are stored locally on your device (including a local database and secure storage for session keys). Profile personal details may be encrypted at rest on the device using a key derived from your password.
We do not currently operate a Runergy cloud backend that syncs your training or profile data to our servers. If that changes, we will update this policy and, where required, ask for consent.
5. Device and technical data
The App may rely on standard device capabilities (storage, secure key storage). App stores (such as Google Play) may collect their own analytics, crash, or install data under their policies when you download or update the App. That collection is controlled by the store, not by Runergy’s in-app logic.
6. Sharing
We do not share your in-app account or profile data with third-party advertisers. We may disclose information if required by law, or to protect rights, safety, or security.
7. Children
Runergy is not directed at children under 13 (or the minimum age required in your country). Do not create an account if you are under that age.
8. Your choices and deletion
You can:
• Update profile information in the App
• Log out of your account
• Delete your account from Profile, which permanently removes your account and associated local data on this device
Because data is stored on device, uninstalling the App or clearing app data will also remove local Runergy data on that device.
9. Security
We use hashing, encryption, and secure storage features to help protect credentials and profile data on device. No method of storage is 100% secure. You are responsible for keeping your password confidential and for physical access to your device.
10. Health-related information
Height, weight, activity, and nutrition-related inputs may be considered sensitive in some jurisdictions. We use them only to power App features you request (for example calorie estimates and training plans). The App does not provide medical diagnosis or treatment.
11. International users
Data is processed and stored on your device. If you use the App while traveling, local laws where your device is located may also apply.
12. Changes to this policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. The “Last updated” date will change when we do. Continued use of the App after an update means you accept the revised policy. Material changes may also be highlighted in the App.
